It has been announced that Sony’s flagship smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is due for the Android 2.1 update this month fortunately they are working on its current version 1.6 models. Those who have recently upgraded their 2.2 model think its handsets are receiving the update.
The main benefit to the 2.1 update is its multi-touch feature which is not available, and is not there in its present model. Features on the Xperia X10 include an 8.1 megapixel camera, video recording, Wi-Fi connections, Bluetooth, an onscreen QWERTY keypad, and the fantastic Timescape app.
