While hardware manufacturers have only just recently been able to get their Android 2.2 updates out the door Android 2.3, otherwise known as Gingerbread, is already making the rounds. The hackers within the Android community have been able to get Gingerbread on some of today’s hottest smartphones. The newest smartphones get the Gingerbread treatment is the Motorola Droid X.
Of course, to get down on this you’re going to have to have a rooted Droid X but once that is all set in stone you should be good to go. As always is the case with unofficial software, make sure you continue at your own danger. Only those who has either done this before or who are feeling quite ballsy should try to go forward with the system. News Source: www.mobilewhack.com
