The HTC HD7 is the HTC Windows Phone 7 alternative to the Android-powered HTC Desire HD. It has a whopping 4.3” display, plus a dinky kickstand.
This is the HTC Windows Phone 7 phone built for watching films. Accordingly, it’s also packing Dolby and SRS smarts. The HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 is also built for recording video, with 720p 24fps video capture and a dual LED flash. For stills, it has a 5MP camera with auto focus. Size wise, it clocks in at 122 x 68 x 11.2mm, and under the hood there’s a 1GHz Qualcomm processor.
The HTC HD7, keeping in mind the intention to make it a phone for video, also has two memory options, with 8GB or 16GB models available. These HTC Windows Phone 7 smartphone aren’t going to be as widespread in the UK as we thought when we heard that all networks would be getting Windows Phone 7 devices, and the HTC HD7 is no exception.
Instead, it’s transpired that each of the big networks gets at least a share of an exclusive Windows Phone 7 device. O2 came up trumps though, and have snagged the HTC HD7 on select, and if the general availability dates come good, you can expect to see it arriving around 21 October.
