We put the brand new Samsung Galaxy S II against its market rivals, the Apple iPhone 4 to come on top. It was perhaps the most significant phone released at MWC 2011.
Like its processor it has an eye-catching screen and seems a gorgeous object. We compare the stats of the two devices to see which touch screened splendor takes the biscuit.
Overall the iPhone 4 is a more compact solution, the one exception being the thickness as it is just piped by the Samsung S II and this phone also weighs less, but has a sleek, compact and ultra-thin body that you cannot go wrong with either of these phones.
The Samsung Galaxy has the biggest of the twosome with a 4.3-inch touchscreen, as the iPhone 4 has a 3.5-inch.
The iPhone 4 is an iPhone containing all the visual looks that goes with it and just like a certain yeast-based spread people are apt to either love it or hate it. The Galaxy S II may prove to be great like an acquired taste of a departure from the original Galaxy S’s smooth curves, we found the slightly more pointed.
The iPhone 4 is certainly a good-looking piece but there are some who might be a bit tired of the now very familiar device approach, but it will no doubt always have its fan.
